Silktide Analytics is fully functional on private websites, including intranets and websites protected by a VPN.

By default, heatmaps are not available for private pages. This is a common restriction across all heatmap solutions, not just Silktide. The reason for this limitation is that Silktide needs to be able to access and view the page in order to display it with a heatmap overlay.

There exist workarounds for this issue when testing private pages within Silktide, but the feasibility of these solutions depend on the specific techniques required to access your web pages.
