The Image policy rule searches for content in image tags on your site. This can include the source of the image or the alternative text associated with the image.

Example uses

  • Find usage of the organization's old logo, based on its file name or alternative text

  • Find alt text that may be too long or not long enough

  • Find images that are not hosted in an "/images/" directory

Supported options

The Image rule allows you to search for content in the image source URL, the alternative text of the image, or both. Like many of our text searching fields, these fields allow you to select your match type. This includes options like "starts with", "contains" or options for length and regex comparisons.
